Temporary changes to bus route 56 from February 3
Starting from February 3, temporary changes will be introduced to bus route 56 due to roadworks at the intersection of Zasulauka and Stendes streets in Šampēteris.
During the construction period, the bus will operate via a detour. In the direction of Daugavgrīva, the bus will follow its regular route until Volguntes Street, then continue along Volguntes Street, Rucavas Street, Šampētera Street, and Zasulauka Street before rejoining the usual route. On the detour, the bus will stop at “Rucavas iela” (on Rucavas Street) served by routes 8 and 44, “Šampēteris” (on Šampētera Street) served by route 63, and “Zasulauka iela” (on Šampētera Street). The stop “Zasulauka iela” (on Zasulauka Street) will be closed. The bus will not stop at “Irlavas iela” and “Rucavas iela” on Volguntes Street.
In the direction of Ziepniekkalns, the bus will follow its regular route until Zasulauka Street, then continue along Zasulauka Street, Šampētera Street, and Rucavas Street before rejoining the usual route. On the detour, the bus will stop at “Šampēteris” (on Šampētera Street) served by route 63 and the temporary stop “Rucavas iela” (on Rucavas Street before the intersection with Volguntes Street). The bus will not stop at “Irlavas iela” and “Rucavas iela” on Volguntes Street.
